If You Win The East Java Gubernatorial Election, Khofifah-Emil Is Asked By Kaesang One Carriage With The Governments Of Jokowi And Prabowo

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Kaesang Pangarep asked Khofifah Indar Parawansa and Emil Dardak to be in line with the central government.

If they win the East Java gubernatorial election, Kaesang hopes that Khofifah and Emil will be in the same carriage as President Joko Widodo, to Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka when running a regional government.

This was revealed by Kaesang after officially carrying the incumbent pair as a candidate for Governor and Deputy Governor of East Java.

"I hope that Mrs. Khofifah and Mr. Emil can synergize for the central government program that is transitioned from Mr. President Jokowi to Pak Prabowo as elected president in 2024," said Kaesang at the PSI DPP office, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, June 4.

Although PSI only received 1 seat in the 2024 Legislative Election of the East Java DPRD, Kaesang admitted that supporting the former Governor-Deputy Governor of East Java to nominate again was an honor.

Therefore, Kaesang ordered his cadres who would be promoted to become regents-deputy regents and mayors-deputy mayors in East Java to support Kaesang.

"God willing, PSI cadres who we encourage and order to advance in the 2024 Pilkada will be like Surabaya, Malang, Madiun, and Gresik will also support Mrs. Khofifah and Mr. Emil," said Kaesang.

Kaesang emphasized that PSI did not ask for any political dowry when providing support to Khofifah and Emil.

"There is no dowry or anything. The most cost incurred by Mrs. Khofifah and Mr. Emil is just a plane ticket here. That's all," said President Jokowi's son.

Previously, the incumbent pair Khofifah-Emil had the blessing of four political parties to run in the East Java gubernatorial election, namely Golkar, Perindo, Democrats and PAN.
