Halim Airport Launches T-Shuttle Service To "Whoosh" High Speed Train Station

JAKARTA - Halim Perdanakusuma Airport officially provides a new transportation service called T-Shuttle to facilitate passengers from Halim Airport to the "Whoosh" High Speed Train Station, Halim, East Jakarta, Saturday, June 1.

Executive GM of Commercial Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, Herry Sikado said this shuttle service will add airport facilities, so passengers have more options in choosing the mode of transportation according to preferences.

"We are trying to add service facilities. So from the airport we have intermodal modes with transportation modes, for example high-speed trains," said Herry in East Jakarta, Saturday.

According to him, the T-Shuttle service is the result of a collaboration between airport managers and PT Trans Aviasi Sinergi. So there is no need to bother looking for an advanced fleet.

"The need for connectivity (transportation) between KCIC and the airport is indeed a request. So passengers don't think anymore (ongoing transportation), they can already determine," said Herry.

In the future, we also plan to cooperate with MRT and LRT so that connectivity at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport is increasingly connected and provides wider choices to passengers. "Next with MRT, LRT, so that the airport has many options," he said.

President Director of PT Trans Aviasi Sinergi, Novrihandri, said the shuttle bus aims to improve services to passengers, both from Halim Perdanakusuma Airport to KCIC Halim Station and vice versa.

"PT Trans Aviasi Sinergi is proud to announce the launch of the latest feeder transportation service using a shuttle bus called T-Shuttle which started operating this Saturday," he said.

Meanwhile, the Director of Finance and Business Development of PT Trans Aviasi Sinergi, Yudhaprana Sugarda, said that T-Shuttle will make it easier for passengers who continue their journey out of town.

"We see that many passengers from Bandung choose Halim for departure purposes because there are more choices of flight destinations," said Yudhaprana.

According to him, apart from being strategic in the city center, Halim Perdanakusuma Airport serves flights to many areas such as Sumatra, Kalimantan, East Java, and Bali.

He is optimistic that T-Shuttle can shorten travel times, and become a comfortable mode of transportation for passengers from KCIC to Halim Perdanakusuma Airport.

"T-Shuttle is accommodating transportation needs to connect KCIC with (Halim Airport) Halim. We are the only provider of shuttle from KCIC to Halim, even from Halim to KCIC," said Yudhaprana.

Every day the T-Shuttle service provides two fleets operating from 06.00 WIB to 21.00 WIB with a departure schedule of every 30 minutes.

Ticket bookings can be made via Whatsapp at 081280000827 with a ticket price of IDR 40,000 T-Shuttle which can be paid through Qris, E-Payment, or Transfer.
