Ahead Of The Simultaneous Pilkada, PKS Establishes Communication To All Parties: No More Kubu 01.02.03

The chairman of the PKS DPP, Mardani Ali Sera, said that his party was communicating with all political parties to form a coalition ahead of the 2024 simultaneous Regional Head Election (Pilkada). This was done because there were no longer terms 01, 02 and 03, after the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres) contestation ended.

"Jalan baik dengan teman-temen Golkar, teman-temen PDIP, dengan Gerindra karena di Pilkada PKS tidak lagi mengenal 01,02,03, semuanya bisa. Bercari yang terbaik untuk masyarakat setempat," ujar Mardani kepada wartawan, Sabtu, 1 Juni.

PKS is said to be preparing to face the contestation of the DKI Jakarta gubernatorial election. One of them is by preparing cadres to compete.

"The first is of course DKI, although the capital is no longer a political magnitude, therefore PKS is preparing itself, PKS officials win and in general one vote, cadres come forward," he said.

However, regarding the readiness if appointed to process PKS to run in the Jakarta Pilkada, Mardani did not answer straightforwardly. Only said he was only a party soldier.

In fact, Mardani had mentioned the name Anies Baswedan, who was considered to have a good track record while leading Jakarta.

"We at PKS have always been soldiers, until now the process is still dynamic and Mas Anies is one of the most worthy because he has a good track record managing DKI," said Mardani.
