"There are complaints about the rice? In my opinion, the rice is better than what I eat," said President Jokowi based on a statement from the Press Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat reported by ANTARA, Thursday, May 30.
When asking whether or not there were complaints about rice to the public, President Jokowi said the quality of rice distributed for food assistance was the premium type of rice.
The public also answered positively and did not complain to President Jokowi.
"I was shown by the Head of Bulog inside, 'Sir, this is divided'. It's a bit pure, right? That's the rice that we share is premium," said the President.
During his visit to the Lubuklinggau Bulog Warehouse, President Joko Widodo confirmed the continuation of the distribution of food aid to the beneficiary community.
