JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo ensured that there were no complaints from the beneficiary communities regarding the quality of rice when distributing food aid and reviewing the Bulog Warehouse of Lubuklinggau City, South Sumatra.

"There are complaints about the rice? In my opinion, the rice is better than what I eat," said President Jokowi based on a statement from the Press Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat reported by ANTARA, Thursday, May 30.

When asking whether or not there were complaints about rice to the public, President Jokowi said the quality of rice distributed for food assistance was the premium type of rice.

The public also answered positively and did not complain to President Jokowi.

"I was shown by the Head of Bulog inside, 'Sir, this is divided'. It's a bit pure, right? That's the rice that we share is premium," said the President.

During his visit to the Lubuklinggau Bulog Warehouse, President Joko Widodo confirmed the continuation of the distribution of food aid to the beneficiary community.

President Jokowi ensures that food assistance that has been received by the public every month from January to May will continue.

The Head of State said food assistance in June would be decided based on the fiscal capacity of the State Budget which is expected to be announced in mid-June.

On that occasion, President Jokowi also gave bicycle quizzes to residents who could say Pancasila.

"Later on Saturday we will commemorate the Birthday of Pancasila on June 1. Those who are here who memorize Pancasila show their fingers," he said, greeted by the enthusiastic community to answer.
