Hendrawan explained that the perpetrator had tried to trick his actions with the mode of death of the victim due to a traffic accident, after an investigation it turned out that the victim died of abuse by the perpetrator by hitting the victim using wood and strangling the victim.
Hendrawan emphasized that the perpetrators have now been detained at the Kapuas Hulu Police Station to undergo a legal process and are charged with Article 338 or Article 351 of the Criminal Code. The perpetrators and victims are residents of Nanga Awin Village, South Putussibau District
"We will coordinate with the West Kalimantan Police Laboratory for the implementation of the autopsy," he said.
Previously, the case was initially revealed when the victim's father reported that his son (HU) was found dead in an accident at 04.00 WIB on Jalan Lintas Timur Simpang Melapi, South Putussibau District, Tuesday, May 21.

According to Hendrawan, the Detective Unit also followed up on the investigation, after examining a number of witnesses and checking the installed camera (CCTV) around the incident, it was found that the perpetrator was the last person with the victim.
"When the investigation was carried out, the perpetrator admitted that he had killed the victim and deliberately engineered it as if he and the victim had an accident," said Hendrawan.
From the results of the examination, he said, the perpetrator killed the victim because the victim did not want to pay a debt in the night entertainment amounting to Rp1 million against the perpetrator.
