Family Says There Was A Cekik Wound On Devi's Neck When She Was Found Dead In Toren Air

TANGERANG - Devi Karmawan's family said there were scars such as strangulations on the neck and bruises on Devi's right shoulder. Therefore, the family asked the police to autopsy to reveal the cause of death.

"It's just that this is in the neck of the strangled, so it's fresh. Your brother said," explained the victim's mother, Darmiyati when met at her house in Gang Samid Sian, Pondok Aren, South Tangerang, Tuesday, May 28.

Not only that, Darmiyati admitted that Devi's older brother saw bruises on her sister's shoulder. This makes the family feel there are irregularities in Devi's death.

Based on developing information, before Devi was found in the water toren, there was a commotion not far from Devi's house, precisely on Saturday, May 25, at night. In fact, neighbors heard the commotion.

"Pak Yogi, yesterday said, heard the sound of people (such as) strangulation, people fighting, strangulation. His position is behind his house. It happened to be tight, his house was with me, close by," he said.

"Well, he thought I was fighting. That's why, Saturday night he went to my house, looking for me. Coincidentally he met my son. Asked, 'Father is there?', 'Father badminton, sir', 'oh no, there was a sound of people screaming or screaming'," he added.

Separately, the Head of Pondok Aren Police, Kompol Bambang Askar Sodiq, said that there were no scars on the victim's body. But only swelling on the victim's body.

However, to find out the exact cause, Bambang admitted that he was still waiting for the autopsy results at the Police Hospital, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta.

"Later be patient, wait for the results of the Police autopsy," he said.
