Pedestrians In Jakut Run Over By Truck Until Their Legs Are Destroyed, Residents Are Confused About Wanting To Give Help

JAKARTA - A pedestrian named Zulfiad was hit by a truck driven by E (initials) until his leg was crushed by the large vehicle. Luckily Zulfiad's life was still safe, but unfortunately one leg was not intact.

North Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Head, Kompol Edy Purwanto, said the incident occurred on Jalan Raya Pelabuhan Arah Barat, Koja, North Jakarta, Monday, May 20, at night.

"It is true that there has been a traffic accident until the victim is injured by destroying his left leg and right leg. (But) the victim managed to survive," said Edy in his statement, Tuesday, May 21.

Edy explained that the incident began when the driver of the B-997-JYU truck drove from Jalan Raya, Koja Harbor, North Jakarta. Arriving at the location, the victim passed by and was hit by the truck until the victim was seriously injured.

Hitting a pedestrian who was crossing from right to left. As a result of the traffic accident, pedestrian Z suffered a wound," he explained.

After the incident, the victim was taken to Koja Hospital for further action.

Opik, one of the local residents, admitted that he was surprised by the incident. The victim, who had been run over, was still safe, but Opik was confused about helping him.

"Still alive. His legs are broken, he wants to be confused too," he said.
