Sandiaga Will Refuse If Offered To Be Minister Prabowo: Many Are More Sweaty

BADUNG - Chairman of the Election Winning Body (Bappilu) of the United Development Party (PPP) Sandiaga Salahudin Uno feels that he knows himself and will not join the Prabowo Subiant-Gibran Rakabuming Raka cabinet.

This was conveyed by Sandiaga in response to reporters' questions on the sidelines of the 10th WWF in Nusa Dua, Badung Regency, Bali, Monday (20/5).

According to Sandiaga, many people were sweating in the Prabowo-Gibran team during the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres).

Especially at that time, he supported the presidential and vice presidential candidates of Ganjar Pranowo- Mahfud MD.

"Many have sweated more than me. Yesterday I was in Pak Ganjar and it feels like it's time for Pak Prabowo's coalition, but I wish him the best, wherever we are, we can contribute," said Sandiaga.

Regarding PPP, the position will be determined in Rapimnas or Mukernas.

"My personal attitude is to join Pak Prabowo. But the attitude of PPP will be formulated by the leadership through a procession, maybe Mukernas or Rapimnas at the leadership level and involve all DPWs. If I suggest encouraging (for the coalition)," he said.

"Moreover, we now don't have all the time for our demographic bonus, it will end soon. We need unity in our development and we hope that everything in the government or outside the government will make a positive contribution to Indonesia's achievement of gold in 2024," he said.
