Police Secure One Person Related To The Discovery Of A Body In The Sodong Pulogadung River

JAKARTA The case of the discovery of a man's body in Sodong River, Pulogadung, East Jakarta, has come to light. Information obtained, the police have arrested one person suspected of being involved in the death of Ahmad Efendi (38).

The perpetrator is still undergoing in-depth examination at the Pulogadung Police Criminal Investigation Unit. The motive for the perpetrator's death is still being investigated.

However, the police have not been able to provide further information because they are still conducting investigations.

"Later, yes. Wait when the press release is done," said East Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Nicolas when confirmed by VOI, Friday, May 17.

Ahmad Efendi's body (38) was found in the Sodong River, Pulogadung, East Jakarta. The family suspects that Ahmad Efendi was the victim of a motorcycle robbery. This is because the motorbike and cellphone that the victim was carrying were reported missing.

"If there are indications from the evidence, only the victim's wallet and the identity is complete. However, in the wallet there is no STNK and the motorbike (victim) has been taken (lost)," said Ahmad Saugi Sahab, the victim's family representative when confirmed, Thursday, May 16.

Ahmad Saugi hopes that the Pulogadung Police will continue to work even harder to uncover the case of the death of victim Ahmad Efendi.

"The hope is that the Police will work more massively in uncovering this case," he said.

In addition to the motorbike, the victim's cellphone, which was used for video calls with his parents before the victim was found dead, was also missing.
