Firefighters Try To Remove The Ring On The Swelling Finger

JAKARTA - West Jakarta Gulkarmat officers evacuated a ring from the finger of a child who had a mental disorder at the Kembangan District Health Center, West Jakarta, Tuesday, May 14.

"The evacuation object for cutting the ring on the ODGJ finger (people with mental disorders) was carried out at 15.35 WIB and completed 16.30 WIB," said Head of West Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Syarifudin when confirmed.

The evacuation was carried out by 4 rescue personnel from the West Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. The evacuation of the ring from the finger was carried out after a woman came to the VIII Kembangan Sector office with her son to request the evacuation of the ring cut on her child's finger.

"It was seen that the victim's finger had swollen and was seriously injured due to the ring that was too narrow on his finger," he said.

However, when the officers made preparations for the equipment, the victim suddenly scared and fled because his fingers hurt.

Then the officer advised the victim's mother to do an anesthetics (immune injections) at the nearest health center.

"After conducting the anesthetic, the officers immediately cut the ring on the victim's finger. Evacuation was successful," he said.
