The six Indonesian citizens include Jamaludin, Abang, Masir, Rudi Tastan, Marwin and Mustang. They are suspected of being crew members of the ship and the captain, who were paid to take the foreigners to Australian waters.

Ariasandy said that after the examination, a number of foreigners would be handed over to the Kupang Immigration Office for further treatment.

Meanwhile, the six Indonesian citizens will be prosecuted, and if it is found to have violated the criminal law, it will be processed in accordance with applicable law.

Head of the Kupang Immigration Office Christian Penna was contacted separately saying that after the examination, the NTT Police would submit it to Kupang Immigration.

"Today, the plan is to hand it over to Immigration when the NTT Police has finished the inspection process," he said.
