SOKOHARJO - Two victims of a fictitious takjil order at the Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Solo, Central Java, raised aid through an open letter they made.
One of the victims who is also the owner of the Catering Aldila business, Supodo, said the open letter was made because until now there has been no clarity about the problem.
"We are confused, sad, depressed, suffering, and with this case we don't know who else to complain to. We have taken all our efforts, so far there has been no bright spot to produce," he said in Sukoharjo Regency, Central Java, Antara, Wednesday, May 8.
Therefore, through this open letter he hopes for generosity from those who are concerned about their condition.
"Every day we are constantly billed debts by banks, neighbors, and grocery stores. We cannot pay debts because we are victims of fraud," he said.
Meanwhile, the case began when suspect E, who is also Supodo's son-in-law, ordered a takjil package and a large meal worth Rp40,000 for a full month-long open event at the Sheikh Zayed Mosque.
Apart from Supodo, E also ordered a similar package in large quantities to the owner of Katering Vio, Slamet Widodo. Both are promised to be paid in conjunction with Eid al-Fitr.
However, until the promised day the two of them did not get their rights. Related to this, victim Sri Kalono's lawyer hopes that the opening of donations can ease the burden on the two victims.
"This incident provides wisdom for us to do charity, to pay off their debts. God willing, they will have a reward, like the reward for giving breaking the fast during the month of Ramadan," he said.
In addition, according to him, this step also maintains the good name of the Sheikh Zayed Mosque which was involved in the fictitious order case. "Therefore, we opened an infaq box through the Ababil Hilal Adnan Foundation," he said.
