SBY Represents Akabri Alumni 1971-1975 Prays For Prabowo's Success As Elected President

JAKARTA - The 6th President of the Republic of Indonesia, General TNI (Ret.) Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY), held a halal bihalal event at the Ministry of Defense Office, Jakarta, Saturday night, May 4, representing alumni of the Indonesian Armed Forces Academy (Akabri) 1971-1975. On this occasion, SBY conveyed his prayers and support to Prabowo Subianto, who had been appointed by the General Election Commission (KPU) as the Elected President for the period 2024-2029.

"Mr. Prabowo Subianto, God willing, will soon lead this country, and this is the will of the Indonesian people. We would like to pray that General TNI (Ret.) Prabowo Subianto will be successful in carrying out state duties," said SBY.

SBY expressed his belief that Prabowo would soon lead the Indonesian nation, in accordance with the will of the people. In his prayer, SBY hopes that Prabowo can succeed in carrying out his duties as the leader of the country. Even though the age of the Akabri alumni has entered the dusk period, SBY emphasized that their enthusiasm to support Prabowo remains raging, especially in maintaining state sovereignty.

SBY also emphasized the importance of the contribution of Akabri alumni in supporting Prabowo's success as a new leader. They are committed to continuing to maintain the sovereignty and integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia under Prabowo's leadership.

"We will all contribute, will support our new leader, who will be really successful to once again safeguard the sovereignty and integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia," he emphasized.

In his message, SBY also entrusted his hope that Prabowo could realize the ideals of the Indonesian state by bringing the name of this nation fragrant in the world arena. This gathering between SBY and Akabri alumni is also a warm nostalgic moment, where they greet each other and share dinner together.

Apart from SBY, a number of prominent retired figures such as General TNI (Ret.) Wiranto, General (Ret.) Hendropriyono, General TNI (Ret.) Agum Gumelar, General TNI (Ret.) Ryamizard Ryacudu, and General TNI (Ret.) Andika Perkasa also attended the event. This togetherness was also attended by senior figures Abituren AKABRI in the 1971-1975 class from the TNI and Polri, showing strong solidarity and support for Prabowo Subianto as Indonesia's new leader.
