JAKARTA - PAN Chairman Zulkifli Hasan (Zulhas), revealed how he finally wanted to accept Gibran Rakabuming Raka as a vice presidential candidate to accompany Prabowo Subianto to run in the 2024 presidential election. Zulhas admitted that he had refused Gibran and nominated the Minister of SOEs, Erick Thohir. In fact, he insisted on defending his champion to be chosen by Prabowo. Because PAN also has to compete with Golkar who nominated Airlangga and Democrats who proposed Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY). "I insist, I don't want it, if Erick I just want to," said Zulhas in Sunter, Jakarta, Saturday, May 4.

We don't necessarily want it, so the agreement will be the result," said the Minister of Trade. It didn't stop there, Zulhas also explained why Gibran was finally elected absolutely. He said, in the voting held at the KIM meeting there were 7 people who chose Gibran to accompany Prabowo.
