Police Make Sure Rio Reifan's Artists Are Not Rehabilitated Due To 5 Drug Cases

The police confirmed that the artist Rio Reifan was being prosecuted and was not rehabilitated because the narcotics abuse suspect had been caught five times in the same case.

West Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Police M Syahduddi said that his party was following the instructions of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police regarding the handling of narcotics abuse suspects who had been arrested many times.

"Yes, we are guided by the police's Kabareskrim telegram that regarding drug offenders who have been arrested many times, there is no rehabilitation process, we will carry out a legal process," said Syahduddi at a press conference in Jakarta on Friday.

Meanwhile, RR is threatened with a maximum imprisonment of 12 years and a maximum fine of Rp. 1 billion.

"Article 112 paragraph 1 of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics and Article 62 of Law Number 5 of 1997 concerning Psychotropics with a penalty of four years imprisonment or a maximum imprisonment of 12 years and a fine of Rp800 million and a maximum of Rp1 billion," said Syahduddi.

RR was arrested at his residence in Jatinegara, East Jakarta, on Friday (26/4) night at around 21.00 WIB.

"Then a series of search activities were carried out at the house. Officers managed to secure three packages of plastic clips of methamphetamine with a weight of 1.17 grams," said Syahduddi.

According to him, half of the ecstasy narcotics were also secured and weighing 0.36 grams and 12 psychotropic items of the dress Atarax Aprazolam brand in the psychotropic category.
