West Jakarta Metro Police are hunting for a man with the initials BB who is a supplier of narcotics to artist Rio Reifan (RR).

"So from the results of the investigation carried out by investigators that indeed Brother RR got goods or narcotics of the type of methamphetamine from someone with the initials BB," said West Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Police M Syahduddi, Friday, May 3.

Until now, said Syahduddi, BB perpetrators have been the target of police operations.

"(The perpetrator of BB) is currently one of our operational targets for us to secure and investigators are still in the field," said Syahduddi.

He ensured that if he had been caught, information on the arrests would be submitted to the public.

"And if we have been caught, we will definitely convey it," said Syahduddi.

Meanwhile, RR is threatened with a maximum imprisonment of 12 years and a maximum fine of Rp. 1 billion.

"Article 112 paragraph 1 of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics and Article 62 of Law 5 of 1997 concerning Psychotropics with a penalty of four years imprisonment or a maximum imprisonment of 12 years and a fine of Rp800 million and a maximum of Rp1 billion," said Syahduddi.

RR was arrested at his residence in Jatinegara, East Jakarta, on Friday (26/4) night at around 21.00 WIB.

"Then a series of search activities were carried out at the house. Officers managed to secure three packages of plastic clips of methamphetamine with a weight of 1.17 grams," said Syahduddi.

Then, he said, half of the ecstasy narcotics were also secured in green and weighing 0.36 grams and 12 psychotropic items of the dress Atarax Aprazolam brand in the psychotropic category.
