TERNATE - The Tipiring Team Sub-Directorate of Gasum, Directorate of Samapta, North Maluku Police (Malut) thwarted efforts to smuggle thousands of liquor (alcohol) from the Permata Obi Ship at Ahmad Yani Port. The Head of Public Relations of the North Maluku Police, AKBP Bambang Suharyono, said that the Tipiring Team, Sub-Directorate of Gasum, conducted an examination at the scene until they found evidence in the form of Cap Tikus liquor. This liquor is in 400 bottles of mineral water packaged measuring 600 ml and 12 bottles measuring 1.5 liters. Evidence was found in a storage area at the port. "This activity, led by Aipda Rusdi Umabaihi, was carried out with the North Maluku Regional Police team in the Ahmad Yani Ternate Port Area and arrested AS suspects involved in this smuggling, along with the confiscated evidence, handed over to the Mako Alert Piket, Directorate of Samapta, North Maluku Police," he said in Ternate, Antara, Wednesday, May 1. The handover process is equipped with a report on the handover of evidence for the next process.
