BANTEN - The Population and Civil Registration Service (Disdukcapil) of Serang Regency, Banten recorded that nearly one month after Lebaran 2024 had passed.

Head of Disdukcapil Serang Regency, Warnerry Poetri, said that the data collection was carried out door to door to ensure the whereabouts of immigrants to move to become residents of Serang Regency. Data collection on newcomers or non-permanent residents is carried out on the basis of Ministerial Regulation 74 of 2022 concerning Non-Permanent Population Registration, where for one year non-permanent residents are given a letter whether they want to register as residents of Serang Regency or return them to their area of origin. "This is the first time we have collected data on non-permanent residents. This is the mandate of Permendagri 74/2022," he said.

Dari hasil kegiatan tersebut, lanjut dia, masih menemukan warga yang belum pindah kependudukan ke Kabupaten Serang, dengan alasan enggan mengurus dokumen kependudukannya."Kami masih melakukan evaluasi, karena ini pertama kali kami melakukan pelayanan seperti ini, selain pelayanan administrasi kependudukan. Nanti kita ubah strategi ke desa padat penduduk atau tempat yang di situ banyak rumah kos atau rumah tinggal sementara," katanya.Menurut dia, pendataan tersebut menjadi kewajiban Disdukcapil. Sementara Kepala Desa (kades), Camat, RT/RW, pelaku kos-kosan dan hotel adalah mitra.

After that, it will be continued to West Serang in five sub-districts," he said. He explained that to move population there was a special treatment, namely having to withdraw files from the area of origin. All of them will be assisted by Disdukcapul's services, not only non-permanent registration, but also carrying out 24 population services, including moving to record ID cards, KK and KIA.
