Artist Rio Reifan Arrested, Police Find Methamphetamine

The West Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Unit arrested artist Rio Reifan on suspicion of drug abuse. In addition to securing the perpetrators, the police also found evidence of methamphetamine and ecstasy drugs.

"(Evidence) There is methamphetamine, ecstasy and hard drugs," said West Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes M. Syahduddi when confirmed, Sunday, April 28.

Syahduddi also said that his party had also checked Rio Reifan by conducting a urine test. This aims to ensure that the perpetrator uses drugs or not.

"Yes, it is positive (using drugs)," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Ade Ary, reminded that his party would follow up on all forms of lapoean related to allegations of drug abuse.

"We urge us to work together to eradicate, overcome all forms of drug abuse. If we get information on allegations of abuse, we can contact 110," he said.

Previously it was reported that the West Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Unit arrested artist Rio Reifan. Rio was arrested on suspicion of drug abuse.

"Yes, that's right (arrested by artist Rio Reifan)," said West Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Head, AKBP Indrawienny Panjiyoga when confirmed, Sunday, April 28.

Panjiyoga said Rio was arrested on Friday, April 26 evening. He has not conveyed in more detail about the chronology and location of the arrests. This is because the police are still carrying out the deepening process.

"(Arrested him) Friday night," he said.
