JAKARTA - Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) ensures that the security system for electronic land certificates is safer than conventional form certificates.
"The electronic land certificate is safer. Why? We have a strict security system, I have visited the Data and Information Center of the Ministry of ATR/BPN in Cikeas, I checked for security issues," said AHY, Agus' nickname, during his working visit to the Makassar City Land Office (Kantah), South Sulawesi, Sunday, April 28, which was confiscated by Antara.
AHY added that electronic land certificates are also safer than conventional certificates that are more vulnerable to being lost, burned, affected by flooding, and even stolen by the land mafia.
"With an electronic certificate, everything is clearly recorded," he said.
He made this statement after declaring the implementation of the Electronic Land Certificate service at the Makassar City Cantah.
On this occasion, AHY immediately handed over an electronic land certificate belonging to the local government. One of the electronic land certificates submitted by AHY is the Makassar Karebosi Field Management Rights Certificate (HPL) with an investment value of Rp. 2.9 trillion.
"The value is fantastic, yes. IDR 2.9 trillion in Karebosi. So, obviously because it is a very strategic location, so the value must also be large," he said.
