JAKARTA - The PDI-P (PDIP) has not yet determined whether it will be in or out of the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka government. A new discussion will be held in a national working meeting (Rakernas) which will be held on May 24-26 in Jakarta. "The party's national meeting in the future will formulate political attitudes in dealing with all national and global political dynamics as well as strategic steps that will be carried out by the post-election party," PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto told reporters in Majalengka, West Java, Saturday, April 27. Hasto said PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri would decide the party's future position in the National Working Meeting. In addition, the discussion of the 2024 Pilkada will also be held there. Later, PDIP will determine the targets to be achieved. "The target is to be decided based on political mapping, PDIP opens the cooperation space," he said.

"At the national level, we are also collaborating with PPP, Hanura, Perindo, so at the district/city and provincial levels we also open cooperation in accordance with the existing political dynamics and political culture," continued the former member of the DPR RI. The main theme of the National Working Meeting is 'Satyam Eva Jayate' or what means that in the end the truth will definitely win. "The meaning is that if PDIP always unites with the strength of the people. We will win if our souls always unite with the struggle of the people," concluded Hasto.
