Gibran Rakabuming Raka visited the official residence of Vice President Ma'ruf Amin on Jalan Diponegoro, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, April 24 afternoon.

Wearing black sneakers wrapped in trousers similar to a brown batik top, Gibran at the vice president's official residence at around 15.50 WIB and was immediately accepted by the vice president.

Gibran, who was accompanied by Aminuddin Ma'ruf as Deputy Secretary of the Prabowo- Gibran National Campaign Team (TKN), has not yet provided a statement regarding his meeting with Vice President Ma'ruf.

Currently, the meeting between Vice President Ma'ruf and Gibran is still ongoing.

The visit was made after the General Election Commission (KPU) appointed the presidential and vice presidential candidate pair number 2 Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka as the president and vice president elected as a result of the 2024 presidential election.

Previously, Ma'ruf had mentioned that he would meet Gibran.

"I think later we will definitely meet the new Vice President, I don't know what today is, what is tomorrow, maybe there will be a meeting," said the Vice President after attending the National Coordination Meeting (Rakornas) Disaster Management in Bandung City, West Java (West Java), Wednesday 24 April.

If the meeting with Gibran is held, he said he would convey the tasks carried out by a vice president.

"Of course I will convey what a vice president must do, although it is certainly different. Even though the vice president is to help the president and carry out the tasks assigned by the president," said Vice President Ma'ruf.

He said, it is possible that the tasks he carries out in the Joko Widodo government are different from Gibran's assignment in the upcoming government.

"When I am assigned it is not necessarily the same as the task of the new vice president assigned by the president, yes, it will be adjusted later," he concluded.
