JAKARTA - As an effort to prevent and provide understanding and education to the public, the Indonesian Journalists Family Association (IKWI) collaborated with the Indonesian Journalists Association (PWI) of West Jakarta to hold a stunting seminar on Tuesday, April 23, 2024.

The THEME "The Importance of Community's Role in Preventing Stunting Against Children", the stunting seminar will be held at Ali Sadikin Hall Lt. 1 Building A of the West Jakarta City Administration Government Office.

In this activity, IKWI West Jakarta collaborated with the West Jakarta City Welfare and Family Welfare Mobilization Team (TP PKK) and the West Jakarta Administrative City Government (Pemkot).

This stunting seminar will present 4 participants, namely from the Indonesian Ministry of Health by the Head of the Communication and Public Service Bureau, Dr. Siti Nadia Tarmizi, West Jakarta Health Sub-department Dr. Asri Yunita, Tarumanegara University Lecturer Dr. Herwanto, and Dr. Sang Arifianto Fajar Adi Kusuma from Kaliders Hospital.

Kestimona Sinaga, Chairman of IKWI West Jakarta, explained that his party deliberately held the stunting seminar.

In addition to being a tangible manifestation of the IKWI program towards government programs, the seminar was an effort and contribution from IKWI West Jakarta to prevent stunting in the West Jakarta area.
