Avoid Odd Even, Reasons For Arogan Fortuner Riders To Fake TN Headquarters Service Plates

JAKARTA - The police arrested a Fortuner car driver who went viral for being arrogant and falsifying the TNI Headquarters service plate. From the results of the preliminary examination, it was revealed that the reason for using a fake service plate was to avoid the odd-even rules applied in the Jakarta area.

"The motive in question for falsifying the TNI service plate noreg 84337-00 is solely to avoid odd-even traffic regulations," said Head of the Information Center (Kapuspen) TNI Headquarters, Major General TNI Nugraha Gumilar to VOI, Wednesday, April 17.

In addition, the driver who is known to have the initials PWGA is certainly not a TNI soldier. He is a civilian.

"It is certain that the person concerned is a civilian who works as a businessman," said Gumilar.

Regarding the arrest process, Gumilar did not specify it. It is only said that PWGA was secured at his residence in the Cempaka Putih area, Central Jakarta.

"The ranks of the Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya arrested and secured the perpetrators at his residence in the Cempaka Putih area," said Gumilar.

The arrest of PWGA was based on a report registered with the number LP/B/2005/IV/2024/SPKT/POLDAMETROJAYA. The report was made by the Deputy Marshal (Ret.) of the TNI Asep Adang Supriyadi who is the official user of the TNI number plate.

Meanwhile, the PWGA went viral after a video of his arrogant action was shared by the @jakartaselatan24jam account which was uploaded on Friday (12/4).

In the video, you can see the Toyota Fortuner car with TNI service plates being arrogant by driving recklessly.

"A Toyota Fortuner driver who used the TNI service plate was involved in a dispute with other motorists on the toll road. The man admitted to serving in the TNI and was also the younger brother of a general," wrote the account.
