JAKARTA - Soundrenaline Sana Sini Jakarta officially opened in the Blok M District area, South Jakarta, on Saturday, July 18.

Carrying the innovative district festival concept, this annual event, which has now become one of the intellectual property (IP) of the oldest festival in Indonesia, has managed to integrate five venues at once to bring to life the creative and entertainment ecosystem in the city center.

The festival, which is scheduled to take place for two days until Sunday, July 19, invites visitors to explore Peruri City Park, Peruri Ina Hall, M Bloc Livehouse, COMA Bar, and Melting Pop.

This concept offers a closer and smoother festival experience, which not only presents the stage action of dozens of local and foreign musicians such as Tahiti 80, Last Dinosaurs, Elephant Kind, to Glass House Effect, but also becomes the stage for the return of the rock band, Seringai, after having undergone a year-long break.

For the Seringai personnel, the evolution of Soundrenaline by breaking the stage into several points in Blok M is seen as a successful step that is very relevant for the industry.

Seringai vocalist, Arian13, emphasized that this festival was able to survive through various changes in the generation of national music.

"Soundrenaline can be said to be the oldest festival IP that still exists. One of the ones that still survive is Soundre," said Arian13 when met after their performance on the first day of the festival, Saturday night.

The close emotional relationship between the band and this festival is recognized as one of the strong reasons why a container like this must continue to be maintained.

The new format, which is now made more intimate, is considered effective in making a real contribution to creating a space for collaboration between musicians, communities, and creative industry players.

"Soundrenaline's contribution, one of which is giving birth to Seringai, because we live and grow together with Soundre," added Arian13.

The success indicator of the new concept of this festival is also reflected in the high enthusiasm of the audience who deliberately came to the Blok M area.

Bassis Seringai, Sammy Bramantyo, told his experience meeting directly with the audience who were willing to travel far to enjoy this festival.

"He said from Sukabumi, specifically to Jakarta for Soundrenaline," said Sammy. "According to me, if that happens, it is the parameter of the success of a festival, when people have to make such an effort."

Before the main series of music performances began, Soundrenaline also opened the festival through The Lab program on Friday, July 17.

Through discussion sessions, networking, and the exchange of ideas between national and international music industry players, Soundrenaline Sana Sini Jakarta not only succeeded in becoming mass entertainment, but also effectively strengthened the creative ecosystem while establishing the Blok M area as a dynamic city cultural destination.
