Hotman Paris Challenges Rocky Arguing Gerung: Not Philosophy Kho Ping Hoo

JAKARTA - A member of the Prabowo-Gibran legal team, Hotman Paris Hutapea, challenged Rocky Gerung to argue. Not philosophy but about law.

The challenge was conveyed by Hotman after the Prabowo-Gibran defense team submitted the conclusion file to the Constitutional Court (MK), Tuesday, April 16.

"Rocky Gerung I challenge you to argue about the law, not to argue about Kho Ping Hoo's philosophy," said Hotman.

The challenge began when Hotman assessed that the legal team from the Anies-Cak Imin and Ganjar-Mahfud camps were filled by people who lacked experience.

For example, Refly Harun, who rarely faces trials and Todung Mulya Lubis, is said to be only a consultant.

"There Refly Must never convene, his lawyer 01. Mulia Lubis is just a consultant. You can see how devastated their defense is," said Hotman.

Then, Hotman mentioned the social assistance politicization disputed by the Anies-Cak Imin and Ganjar-Mahfud camps.

According to him, if he becomes the attorney of the applicant, Hotman will present five witnesses who chose Prabowo-Gibran after receiving social assistance. However, they did not do this.

"If we become his lawyer, a street lawyer who has been in the case for decades, I should have gathered five people from each district who received social assistance, especially those who took sides. Bring it to the mk hundreds. They didn't do this," he explained.

The attorneys of the petitioners are considered to have been influenced by Rocky Gerung with his philosophical understanding. Thus, witnesses and experts who were presented in the trial were presented to the philosophers of psychologist fans.

"They were influenced by the same empty philosophy from Rocky Gerung. What was brought was a Christian philosopher, namely romo and psychologist. How an incident of unlawful acts was proven to be tried by psychologists and ethics as well as the romo of ecclesiasts," said Hotman.

The expert's statement is considered to be just an empty message. In fact, Hotmat ridiculed the petitioner if he later lost the trial.

Until finally, Hotman challenged Rocky Gerung to argue about legal science.

"So really their defense is like I said at the beginning it was really an empty message. So don't cry if you lose. That's all," said Hotman.
