JAKARTA - Hundreds of residents of Kebon Singkong (Bonsi) spilled onto the streets again to carry out brawls on Jalan I Gusti Ngurah Rai and the railway line in the Klender area, Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta, Thursday, November 21, evening. This brawl is the aftermath of a brawl that occurred on Thursday morning.

The two sides carried out attacks using Molotov cocktails, firecrackers, fireworks, various sharp weapons and stones.

As a result of this brawl, there was a long traffic jam on two sections of Jalan I Gusti Ngurah Rai towards Bekasi and Jatinegara.

This brawl lasted for several minutes. The two groups of residents attacked each other using firecrackers and Molotov cocktails.

This brawl between residents has occurred five times in November. The reason is due to a trivial problem, namely provocations through firecrackers and fireworks.

Syawal, a local resident, said the incident started when firecrackers were fired.

"Initially it was from firecrackers. The brawl has been going on for two days," he complained to reporters, Thursday, November 21, evening.

According to him, the brawl between the two groups of residents was no longer pure between residents because they had begun to be infiltrated by groups from outside.

"It's been two days since the brawl. The cause of today's brawl is the problem of firecrackers, if the root of the problem has been around for a long time since last year. From now on, sometimes someone has been in Managed," he said.

It is not yet known that there were any injuries from the brawl on Thursday night. However, the East Jakarta Metro Police have been dispatched to the scene.

Previously, it was reported that two groups of residents from RW 01 Kebon Singkong (Bonsi), Klender Village, Duren Sawit and Cipinang Jagal, Pulogadung were again involved in a brawl on Jalan I Gusti Ngurah Rai, Duren Sawit, Thursday, November 21, at dawn.

The perpetrators of this brawl took advantage of the careless situation of the officers who had closely guarded the location of the brawl since the night.

However, when the anti-battle post was empty, the brawlers immediately held an action.
