Boyolali Police Secures Homecoming Flow On Solo-Yogyakarta Functional Toll Road

The Boyolali Police Traffic Unit (Satlantas) is ready to monitor the flow of homecoming and reverse vehicles that will pass on the Solo-Yogyakarta functional toll road which is planned to be opened from April 5 to 15, 2024.

Head of the Boyolali Police Traffic Unit AKP Agista Ryan Mulyanto said his party checked the Solo-Yogyakarta functional toll road which is planned to function from 5 to 15 April 2024 and is planned to open from 06.00 WIB to 17.00 WIB.

He hopes that people who cross the functional toll road can pass through two routes, namely entering through the Colomadu Karanganyar Toll Gate or KM 492 or from the arterial road can pass through the Banyudono Boyolali Toll entrance.

"We hope that people who go through functional toll roads comply with traffic regulations with a maximum speed of 40 km per hour," he said.

He said the condition of the Solo-Yogyakarta Toll Road through Boyolali to Klaten was good. His party together with the Central Java Police Chief Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi and the Central Java Police Traffic Director, and Adi Karya conducted a survey to NgawenKlaten.

"This Solo-Yogyakarta functional toll road has reached a distance of about 23 kilometers from the Colomadu Toll Gate to Ngawen Klaten. From Colomadu STA 0 and out to Karanganom STA 13 Klaten, at KM 13 and at STAKM 23 the exit of Ngawen Klaten," he said.

He said vehicles that are allowed to pass on the Solo-Yogyakarta toll road or this functional is specifically for non-bus class 1 vehicles.

The peak of homecoming flow, he continued, is likely from Friday (5/4) to Sunday (7/4) and the peak of backflow from Saturday (13/4) to Monday (15/4). The flow of vehicles from the Yogyakarta department or vice versa can cross the functional toll road from Friday (5/4) to Monday (15/4).

For travelers, for those who are considered, they can enter the functional toll road for both access through Banyudono from the arterial road and pass through the Colomadu Gate Toll Gate, STA KM 492.

Considering that traffic signs are not perfect on toll roads, his party urges motorists to be careful and keep their distance safe. Then comply with traffic regulations for functional roads with a maximum speed of 40 km per hour.

The functional toll road will be treated possibly in two directions from Karanganom to Colomadu and vice versa. However, in the Karanganom to Ngawen area, it cannot be implemented in two directions, it will only be done in one direction.

"So the Colomadu Toll Road to Ngawen Klaten can be passed by two-lane vehicles and later to Karanganom Klaten only one route," he said.
