Sukabumi Police Buru Sindikat ATM Burglary In Nagrak Who Is Suspected Of Fleeing Into The Forest

SUKABUMI - Nagrak Police are hunting for syndicates/kawanan who break into automated teller machines (ATMs) in the Nagrak District, Sukabumi Regency, West Java.

"We have formed a team to hunt down the gang of ATM burglars. It is suspected that the suspects fled to the forest on the border of Nagrak and Cibadak sub-districts," Sukabumi Police Chief AKBP Tony Prasetyo was quoted as saying by ANTARA, Monday, April 1.

Meanwhile, the Head of Nagrak Police, Iptu Teguh Putra Hidayat, explained that the ATM burglary that occurred on Saturday (30/3) night was caught by Nagrak Police personnel who were on patrol.

Seeing suspicious movements in the ATM outlet, the personnel who were carrying out the patrol immediately carried out an inspection. Allegedly, the perpetrators saw the arrival of a number of Nagrak Police personnel and immediately fled.

"At that time our officers were conducting patrols to prevent disturbances to Kamtibmas and the sarong war, but at around 21.00 WIB, officers found an attempted burglary," he added.

All the suspects immediately fled into the forest, while a number of equipment used by the suspects was left behind.

The equipment used to break into ATM outlets is used as evidence and the perpetrators have been identified.
