The East Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Unit and the Metro Jaya Police Traffic Unit conducted a crime scene at the Halim GT (Gardu Tol) after a series of accidents on Wednesday, March 27.

"The crime scene (the crime scene) is still being processed, a combination of the Regional Police," said East Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Head, Kompol Arry Setyo Utomo when confirmed by VOI, Wednesday, March 27.

Meanwhile, according to a Senior General Manager of Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad Regional Division Widiyatmiko Nursejati, the accident was allegedly caused by an ankle truck (light truck) coming from Jatiwaringin and driving irregularly approaching the Halim Utama Toll Gate.

Then the vehicle hit several vehicles in front of it and ended up tilting over.

"So far, seven vehicles have been involved in accidents," he said.

All vehicles involved are being recorded and are currently being handled by officers in the field.

Meanwhile, as a result of the accident, three Halim Utama toll substations were temporarily closed and optimized the capacity of substations that could operate.

"To avoid overcrowding, road users are advised to anticipate travel routes and monitor updates on Traffic Information conditions," he said.

Previously, it was reported that a series of accidents involving a number of vehicles occurred in front of the Halim Utama Toll Road GT, East Jakarta, Wednesday, March 27, morning. The successive accident occurred in front of the Halim Toll Gate from Bekasi to the Inner City Toll Road.

East Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Head, Kompol Arry Setyo Utomo said his party had deployed members of the East Jakarta Satwil Traffic Traffic Unit to the scene with the PJR Unit.
