Suspected Victim Of Murder, Body Of Man Covered In Blood Found On Jalan Desa Serang Area Banten

SERANG - The body of an unidentified man is estimated to be 40 years old lying on the side of the road in the village of Bendung Village, Tanara District, Serang Regency, Banten, allegedly due to being a murder victim.

Kasihumas Serang Police AKP Dedi Jumhaedi explained that the bodies of the victims were first found by Maksum (40) and Rizal (18) local residents who happened to cross the location on Tuesday, March 26 at around 03.00 WIB.

The Serang Police Satreskrim conducted a crime scene (TKP) where an unidentified man was found lying dead covered in blood on the side of the road in Bendung Village, Tanara District, Serang Regency. "For the discovery of the body, residents then reported it to the Tanara Police Headquarters," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Selas, March 26.

After receiving a report from the Tanara Police officers and the Serang Police Satreskrim identification team immediately moved to the location. From the results of the examination, the body of this unidentified man was suspected of being a murder victim. "When found, the victim's body was lying on the side of the road covered in blood allegedly due to injuries to his head," he said. However, his party did not yet know the cause of the victim's death. For the investigation process, the victim's body was rushed to the Bhayangkara Police Hospital in Banten. "The victim's body has been taken to Bhayangkara Police Hospital for an autopsy," he said.

Dedi said that the victim, who is estimated to be around 40 years old, was not a local resident because no one recognized the victim.

"It is suspected that it is not a local resident. We urge residents who feel they have lost their family members to immediately report to the nearest police station," he said. He said that currently Serang Police are still investigating the identity and cause of death of the victim.
