Bank Danamon Will Distribute IDR 1.2 Trillion Dividend

JAKARTA PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk (BDMN) held an Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) on Friday, March 22, 2024, and Shareholders approved all agendas proposed by the Company, one of which was the use of the company's net profit for dividend payments.

President Director of the Company Daisuke Ejima said that the 2024 AGMS agreed, among others: Annual Reports, Financial Reports, Profit Use, and Changes in the Composition of the Company's Directors.

The company managed to record good business growth and posted Net Profit for the financial year ending on December 31, 2023, amounting to approximately IDR 3.5 trillion.

At the AGMS, the Company's Shareholders approved a dividend payment of 35 percent of the Company's Net Profit, equivalent to approximately IDR 1.2 trillion or IDR 125.48 per share.

Ejima said that her party will continue to develop as a Financial Group which provides solutions in various segment and ecosystem targets, as well as continuing significant progress in business and investment expansion.

"Throughout 2023, Danamon has succeeded in achieving significant achievements by carrying out the spirit of 'Joint Growth' and commitment to supporting customers, employees and the wider community and helping them in growing and achieving prosperity together with Danamon", said Ejima in her official statement quoted on Sunday, March 24, 2024.

Shareholders also approved the appointment of Jin Yoshida as Director of the Company, replacing Naoki Mizoguchi, who will end his term as Director of the Company effective on April 1, 2024. Jin Yoshida will be effective as Director after fulfilling all applicable terms and regulations.
