JAKARTA - First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo's Personal Secretary, Sendi Fardiansyah, admitted that he met and received input from President Joko Widodo to receive prayers from Iriana regarding his plans to run in the regional head election in Bogor, West Java. "My goal to face is to report several things, the results of a survey related to the Bogor City Pilkada, reports of activities that my team and I have carried out over the past 1 year, programs reports that will be carried out in the face of the Pilkada," said Sendi in a statement received in Jakarta, Antara, Wednesday, March 20. Sendi admitted that President Joko Widodo received it at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Monday, March 18. At the meeting, he also admitted that he asked for his blessing and support from President Joko Widodo regarding his plan to run as a candidate for Mayor of Bogor 2024. "Alhamdulillah, the meeting went smoothly and the President gave a lot of input. He also asked me to work hard to increase popularity and electability. Alhamdulillah, he supports to move forward," said Sendi.

Sendi also said that First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo supports her candidacy and prays that the results obtained can be as expected.
