Clashes Between Youths In Tanjung Priok, Mr. RT Asks To Be Resolved Familyly

JAKARTA - The attack by a group of youths against a resident of Kampung Bahari, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta resulted in one person being injured.

The Head of the Tanjung Priok Police, Kompol Nazirwan, said the commotion occurred on Tuesday, March 19, at night. And the case is now under investigation.

"It is true that there was a commotion last night, in our investigation. (As a result of the incident) One of them (the victim) was injured with 3 stitches," Nazirwan said when confirmed, Wednesday, March 20.

Temporary investigation, identified by a number of perpetrators, turned out to be neighbors and school friends of the victim.

"It's still being investigated, initial information that the victim and several identified perpetrators are neighbors and school friends of the victim," he said.

Therefore, said Nazirwan, the neighborhood unit (RT) has asked for this attack case to be resolved amicably.

"Untuk para pihak (permintaan orang tua korban) belum membuat laporan polisi dan perangkat lingkungan dalam hal ini RT minta agar permasalahan diselesaikan secara keluarga," tutupnya.
