ACEH - Aceh Police Investigators have named four people as suspects in the alleged destruction of the Office of the Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI) of East Aceh Regency. Director of the General Criminal Investigation of the Aceh Police, Ade Harianto, said that apart from the destruction, they were also involved in beating people. "Investigators are still investigating the case of the destruction of the East Aceh Regency KONI Office accompanied by the beating of people. From the results of the investigation, four names have been named as suspects and they have been detained at the Aceh Police Detention Center," said Ade Harianto in Banda Aceh, Antara, Tuesday, March 19. The four suspects have the initials H, Y, S, and J. The suspects are the East Aceh Regency KONI administrators and sports event administrators in the district. Investigators are still continuing to develop cases and intensively examine witnesses to reveal whether there are other suspects or not. "This case has disrupted the security and social order in East Aceh Regency. Moreover, Aceh will host PON as well as immediately enter the simultaneous regional elections," said Ade Harianto. Previously, Aceh Police investigators took over the handling of the case of the destruction of the East Aceh Regency KONI Office accompanied by the persecution of the chairman of the sports organization's management. "The handling of the case has been withdrawn to the Aceh Police from the East Aceh Police investigators. Withdrawal or take over cases to facilitate the investigation and investigation process," said Head of Public Relations of the Aceh Police, Kombes Pol Joko Krisdiyanto. The handling of the case began with a FI report related to his persecution and the destruction of the KONI Office facilities in East Aceh Regency on Wednesday (13/3).

Based on the report, the East Aceh Police arrested eight perpetrators. The perpetrators were detained among officials within the East Aceh Regency Government, former members of the East Aceh DPRK, former election supervisors, and contractors with names in the area.
