In This Mosque, Tarawih Pilgrims Can Get Umrah Prizes And Motorcycles

JAKARTA - Mosques are not only designed for places of worship, but are also centers of religious activities that inspire togetherness and goodness. There are many ways to prosper the mosque, especially in the Holy month of Ramadan.

Darul Hannan Samarinda Mosque, for example, presents an interesting program for pilgrims who perform Tarawih Prayers during the holy month of Ramadan that provides the opportunity to win various prizes, including Umrah packages and motorbikes.

"The tradition of giving this prize has lasted for almost 14 years to build the spirit of Muslims around the mosque," said the head of the Darul Hannan Mosque, Hajah Arbani when met at a mosque located on Jalan M. Yamin, Gunung Kelua Village, Samarinda, quoted from ANTARA, Saturday, March 16.

"We want to encourage the public to be more active in worship, and for us this is a better way to give appreciation through useful prizes," continued Arbani.

He conveyed that this mosque had prepared thousands of coupons that would be distributed every day to the congregation present. "Every day, we provide around 1,300 coupons, with a total of 30 thousand coupons during Ramadan," he added.

Umrah packages and motorcycle units are indeed the main prizes prepared, in addition to cash prizes and other entertainment that are no less interesting. The coupons were distributed after the prayer isya and followed by a seven-minute (cultum) college.

"We hope that this activity can be an additional motivation for pilgrims to continue to be consistent in carrying out Tarawih Prayers," said Arbani.

This program is open to all Samarinda people who want to participate in religious activities at the Darul Hannan Mosque and have the opportunity to win the prizes that have been prepared.

"On the 10th night of Ramadan, the prize provided was in the form of cash. The same thing will also be given on the 20th night. Meanwhile, on the 29th night, pilgrims had the opportunity to win motorbikes and Umrah packages," said Arbani.

He continued that this activity aims to invite the people of Samarinda to be more active in worship, especially tarawih prayers which have been crowded with attendance.

"We are grateful that Tarawih prayers at this mosque are always full. We hope that with this program, the congregation will not only be moved to attend because of the prize, but also to improve the quality of their prayers," said Arbani.

The administrator of the Darul Hannan Mosque hopes that this activity can be a motivation for the community to be more enthusiastic about worship, especially in this blessed month.
