The General Election Commission has approved the vote acquisition of presidential and vice presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka ahead in North Maluku based on a plenary meeting to recapitulate the results of the 2024 General Election national votes at the KPU office, Jakarta.

KPU chairman Hasyim Asy'ari said the number of ballots used for the presidential and vice president elections was suitable for the number of voters who attended the polling stations (TPS) and the number of valid and invalid votes, which was 758,812 shares.

"From North Maluku Province, can we ratify it? Bismillah is legal," said Hasyim during the plenary meeting.

North Maluku Provincial KPU chairman Pudja Sutamat revealed that the Anies-Muhaimin pair collected 200,459 votes, the Prabowo-Gibran pair had 454,943 votes, and the Ganjar-Mahfud pair 91,293 votes.

The number of voters recorded on the final voter list (DPT) for the 2024 General Election in North Maluku Province was 953,978 people. Of the DPT figures, the number of people who exercised their voting rights was 724,845 people.

There are as many as 9,522 people who exercise their voting rights from the additional voter list (DPTb), and there are 24,445 people who exercise their voting rights from the special voter list (DPK).

"The number of users of the right to vote, male 378,893 people, female 379,919 people, total 758,812 people," said Pudja.
