South Kalimantan Police Investigate Reports Of Alleged Fraudulent Solar Investments Of IDR 8 Billion

BANJARMASIN - The South Kalimantan Regional Police (Polda Kalsel) is now investigating reports of diesel fuel investments that are suspected of being fraudulent with the total loss of the victims reaching Rp. 8 billion.

"Investigators are still investigating by examining the victim witnesses who made the report," said Director of General Criminal Investigation at the South Kalimantan Police, Kombes Erick Frendriz in Banjarmasin, as reported by ANTARA, Friday, March 15.

As of Friday afternoon, 18 people had made a police report claiming to be victims of investment on behalf of the reported party with the initials FN (27) from the domicile of Banjarbaru City.

The losses reported by the victims varied according to their different investment values.

"Had received a fee of profit several times, but since November 2023 it has not been paid again on the grounds that the business is going down again," he said.

Another victim of ML with a total investment of Rp175 million admitted to being cheated because the reported party could no longer be contacted since the last time he received a profit fee at the end of last year.

"We ask the police to confiscate their assets so that they can be used to return the capital of hundreds of victims," he said while revealing that the reported party was the wife of a police officer on duty at the South Kalimantan Police.
