BOGOR - Chairman of the Bogor City DPRD, Atang Trisnanto, asked all managers of Night Entertainment Places (THM), managers of places to eat and all people of Bogor City to follow a circular issued by the Bogor City Government to maintain regional conduciveness during Ramadan 1445 Hijri.

"There are corridors that we have agreed together to maintain the conduciveness of Ramadan. Hopefully, everything can be carried out," said Atang, Wednesday, March 13.

Furthermore, Atang explained that in addition to the circular issued by the Bogor City Government, there is Regional Regulation Number 1 of 2021 concerning the Implementation of Public Order and Community Peace and Community Protection which can bind and become the basis for entrepreneurs to maintain order during Ramadan.

"So in terms of instruments, we already have Regional Regulation number 1 of 2021. In fact, there are sanctions for those who are stubborn. So I urge you to hold on to Ramadan so that the atmosphere of Ramadan can be maintained and conditions in the region can be conducive," he explained.

Atang also asked the lurah and sub-district apparatus to be prepared during Ramadan 1445 Hijri. This is intended so that conditions in the area starting from the RT, RW, Kelurahan and District levels can be monitored if things happen that are not desirable.

"We ask regional officials to stand by. Learning from previous years, brawls, thefts and others often occur during Ramadan, so it is necessary to be prepared from regional apparatus," said Atang.

To note, in the Bogor Mayor's Circular, there are four points that must be followed by THM managers, restaurant managers and the public.

The first is the prohibition on operating for THM in the form of massage places or the like and karaoke places or the like. Second, the prohibition for Sahur on The Road (SOTR) activities. Third, the prohibition on selling, producing and sound firecrackers. Fourth, ask restaurant managers to respect fasting Muslims.

The Mayor of Bogor, Bima Arya, confirmed that he would carry out patrols during Ramadan to maintain regional conduciveness.

"Like every year's tradition, we ask everyone to respect it. All entertainment venues are completely closed. No one should be naughty. Because we will continue to patrol, Kasatpol PP and its members, elements of the TNI-Polri will continue to monitor it. Then friends in the area, the sub-district head will monitor it," said Bima.
