Social activist from the Civil Society Coalition Against Sexual Violence (Kompaks) asked the Head of the West Nusa Tenggara High Prosecutor's Office, Bambang Gunawan, to pay attention to the handling of cases of alleged sexual harassment against 29 female students at one of the Islamic boarding schools in the Labangka area, Sumbawa Regency. "The file of this case continues to go back and forth from the investigating prosecutor to the investigator, what is this? What is the cause like this? Please Kajati NTB can pay attention to this case," said Yan Mangandar, Kompaks Coordinator when met after conveying this issue to the NTB Prosecutor's Office in Mataram, Antara, Thursday, March 7. Kompaks has traced the information from the case journey that has named the head of the Islamic boarding school as a suspect. So far, the suspect's case file has been more than three times back and forth from the investigating prosecutor to the police investigator. "The police investigators here are sure that they have fulfilled the instructions. However, at the prosecutor's office (Kejari Sumbawa) every time they return the files to investigators, the instructions (files) are the same," said Yan. According to him, police investigators should sit down together with the prosecutor's office to discuss issues that hinder the handling of this case. "Therefore, we hope that there will be a meeting between the police and the prosecutor's office in resolving this case. We also hope that, institutionally, both the NTB Attorney General's Office and the NTB Police can facilitate the meeting," he said. In an effort to uncover the criminal acts in this case, Yan admitted that Kompaks had also forwarded this information to the Deputy Attorney General for Supervision of the Indonesian Attorney General's Office (JAMwas Kejagung RI). "Our goal is to forward this information to the JAMWas of the Indonesian Attorney General's Office to participate in supervising the performance of the research prosecutor on duty in this case," he said. Meanwhile, Spokesperson for the NTB Prosecutor's Office, Efrien Saputera, said that his party would forward information from this social activist to Kajati NTB. "We will convey what is the result of our meeting with Kompaks to our superiors (Kajati NTB)," he said. However, from the results of coordination with the Sumbawa Kejari, Efrien said that the latest news on the case file had been returned to police investigators. "It has even been billed. It's just that, until the deadline, there has been no file return. Because not yet, that's why the SPDP has been returned," said Efrien. Meanwhile, the Head of the Protection of Women and Children (PPA) of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Sumbawa Police, Aiptu Arifin Setioko, said that his party had fulfilled all the instructions of the research prosecutor. "However, the prosecutor is not sure about the criminal element suspected by investigators," he said. He admitted that investigators had tried to fulfill the instructions, but the research prosecutor continued to return them with additional instructions. "The persuasion, coercion and threats of violence according to the prosecutor were not fulfilled, we were also asked to look for other evidence," said Arifin.

With this obstacle, he emphasized that his party would hold this case at the NTB Regional Police in the hope of getting clues in the settlement of the case.
