JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) hopes that giving the COVID-19 vaccine to traders in Beringharjo Market, Malioboro, and Alun-Alun can restore economic and tourism conditions in the Special Region of Yogyakarta.

He said, the entire vaccine process that he was reviewing had run smoothly. President Jokowi hopes that this can be resolved in order to restore the economy and tourism in this Gudeg City.

"The vaccination runs smoothly and well. The total number (of participants, red) is 19,900 and we hope that it can be completed soon. So we hope that the economy can recover, can bounce back," he said.
