A Man Who Sells Alcohol At Home Arrested By The Surakarta Police Sparta Team

SURAKARTA - A grandfather with the initials SP (54) was secured by the Sparta Sat Samapta Team of the Surakarta Police for selling liquor (Miras) in his house in Keprabon Banjarsari, Surakarta city. The white-haired man who works as a wild parking attendant every day sells ciu-type alcohol in various sizes.

Head of Samapta Polresta Surakarta Kompol Arfian Riski Dwi Wibowo, said that SP's arrest was carried out on Friday morning, March 1, at around 01.30 WIB. SP was secured without putting up a fight even though he had dodged.

"The SP Chief was secured by the Sparta Team in order to create post-election conditions in the jurisdiction of the Surakarta Police," said Kompol Arfian, in a written statement, Friday, March 1.

Kasat Samapta revealed that security against SP was armed with public information, which stated that the Keprabon area often appeared to be drinking transactions.

"Then the Sparta Team headed to the location according to the information. Arriving at the location, he met directly with the owner of the house (SP), but the perpetrator did not admit to selling alcohol. After a search, 12 bottles of ciu type alcohol, and 5 bottles of 600ml," said Kompol Arfian.

Furthermore, SP and evidence were brought to the Surakarta Police Sat Samapta to be followed up according to Tipiring's procedure (light criminal action).

The Head of Surakarta Police, Kombes Iwan Saktiadi, emphasized that the raid activities would continue to be encouraged.

"Hopefully it will have a deterrent effect so that it doesn't repeat its actions, including lessons for others so that there are no more violations in the form of selling alcohol without permission that have the potential to cause disturbances to kamtibmas," he concluded.
