JAKARTA - The Traffic Corps (Korlantas) of the National Police will hold Safety Operations 2024 throughout Indonesia. The implementation is for 14 days.

Based on the upload of the Instagram account @korlantaspolri.ntmc, Operation Keselamatan 2024 will start from March 4 to 17.

"The National Police Traffic Corps will hold Operation Safety 2024 for 14 days starting from March 4 to March 17, 2024," wrote the account @korlantaspolri.ntmc quoted on Thursday, February 29.

In the operation, there were several types of violations that were targeted for prosecution, including odd-even violations, road markings and road signs, vehicle speed limits, and excess transport power and dimensions.

Then, the violation of breaking a red light, going against the current, not wearing a helmet, not wearing a safety belt, playing with your phone while driving, riding more than one person, using a fake plate, and a vehicle that uses a special or confidential number plate.

Confirmed separately, the Head of the Ops Korlantas Polri Kombes Eddy Djunaedi said that the violation took action using an electronic ticketing mechanism or ETLE.

"The ETLE ticket is static and mobile," said Eddy.
