1,113 TPS Holds Re-voting, Continuing And Susulant

The General Elections Commission (KPU) revealed that 1,113 polling stations (TPS) had re-voted (PSU), continued voting (PSL) and subsequent voting (PSS).

KPU chairman Hasyim Asy'ari said, during February 15-27, re-voting, follow-up and follow-up had been carried out in 38 provinces, 229 regencies/cities, 430 sub-districts and 562 villages.

In detail, there were 738 re-voting (PSU) polling stations, 117 further voting (PSL), and 258 follow-up polling stations (PSS), bringing the total to 1,113 polling stations.

"The PSU is partly based on recommendations from Panwas and also Bawaslu. Based on that, a study was made and friends decided whether the PSU or not was the local city district KPU," said Hasyim, Tuesday, February 27.

The PSU provisions are contained in Article 372 paragraph (1) of Law no. 7 of 2017 concerning General Elections, PSU at TPS can be repeated if there is a natural disaster and or riot that results result in the voteMENT cannot be used or the vote count cannot be carried out.

"PSU was carried out at several polling stations such as floods so that it could not be continued, then because there were riots like in Paniai Papua," said Hasyim.

As for the follow-up voting (PSL), the vote was continued to continue the stages that had been stopped and/or stages that had not been carried out in the general election contained in Article 433 of Law No. 7 of 2017 concerning Elections,

Then for the follow-up voting (PSS), the follow-up voting has not been done at all.

In Article 432 of Law no. 7 of 2017, it reads, in terms of part or all Regions of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia there were riots, disturbances in security, natural disasters, or other disturbances that resulted in all stages of holding general elections that could not be held, followed up elections.
