Mamberamo KPU Members Examined By Bawaslu Due To Late Logistics Makes 10 TPS Failed To Vote

JAYYAPURA - Chairman of the Mamberamo Raya Bawaslu Cornelia Momoribo said that his party had examined the Mamberamo Raya KPU commissioner due to delays in logistics delivery, resulting in ten polling stations not carrying out the vote on February 14.

"As a result of the delay, 10 polling stations in four districts were unable to carry out the voting according to schedule. It is true that we have asked for information from the commissioner regarding the delay in logistics delivery due to Bawaslu Mamberamo Raya issuing recommendations for the implementation of the follow-up voting (PSS)," Cornelia explained as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, February 24.

In addition to the commissioner, Bawaslu also summoned transportation service providers who transport election logistics.

The examination was carried out by Bawaslu Mamberamo Raya because the results of the supervision were revealed due to delays in sending logistics to 20 polling stations, causing the vote to not be carried out.

34 points were recorded in the Mamberamo Raya area using air transportation.

"The summons and examination of the Mambra KPU Commissioner, which was carried out Monday (19/1) was caused by Bawaslu suspecting that there was a violation committed by the KPU related to the distribution of logistics said the Head of Bawaslu.

In addition to conducting PSS in Mamberamo Raya, PSU is also carried out.
