The Cianjur Resort Police, West Java, arrested the perpetrator of the murder of a man from Bandar Lampung in a hotel room wrapped in duct tape on his legs, hands and neck. The perpetrator's initials MY (23) was arrested in less than 24 hours. Kasatreskrim Cianjur Police AKP Tono Listianto said that after processing the crime scene and asking for witness statements, his party found the name of the perpetrator MY who lived not far from the hotel where victim Andre (32) was found. "The perpetrator was arrested without a fight at his home in Cilengsar Village, Gadog Village, Cipanas District, he admitted that he killed the victim in the hotel room because of revenge," said Tono in Cianjur, Friday, February 23. The perpetrator said that he had tied the victim's hands, legs and neck with duct tape, so that the victim would run out of breath and could not resist. Even when he saw the victim struggling, the perpetrator tightened the duct tape bond on the neck until the victim died. Seeing the victim dead, the perpetrator fled and called the hotel reception after six hours by mentioning the guest in the room needed help, until finally hotel employees found the victim dead. "The perpetrator had told the receptioner that there was a guest who needed help, when it was confirmed that the victim had become a corpse with a prone position on the floor with his body wrapped in cloth, hands and feet and neck tied with black duct tape," he said. His party is still investigating the information of the perpetrator who likes the same sex, related to the motive for the murder, even officers are still digging up information about where the perpetrator and the victim initially got acquainted and got to the hotel room. As reported by the Cianjur Police, investigating the discovery of a man's body wrapped in cloth with his hands and feet tied with black duct tape in a hotel room on Jalan Raya Cipanas, known as Andre (32), a resident of Bandar Lampung City, Wednesday (21/2). Kasatreskrim Cianjur Police AKP Tono Listianto, said that he immediately sent officers and the Cianjur Police Inafis team to the location to conduct an investigation of the crime scene related to the discovery of the corpse in the jasmine class hotel room. "When a body was found wrapped in a cloth with its feet and hands tied with black duct tape, beside the corpse, scissors were found, but we don't know what the scissors were for," he said.

Officers found a number of bruises on the victim's body allegedly due to a blunt object impact, as well as several parts of the victim's body were found to be torn, as well as the cause of death due to strangulation of duct tape on the neck which was attached quite tightly.
