AHY Will Lead The Land Mafia Eradication Coordination Meeting

JAKARTA - Deputy Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Deputy Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Raja Juli Antoni revealed that the Minister of ATR/Head of BPN Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono or AHY chaired a coordination meeting (rakor) to eradicate the land mafia on March 1-4.

"This meeting aims to identify how many cases of the big land mafia that God willing, can be resolved this year. Minister AHY will lead the coordination meeting," said King Juli Antoni as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, February 23.

The coordination meeting for the eradication of the land mafia will be held on March 1 - 4 involving the prosecutor's office, police, and the Supreme Court throughout Indonesia.

"In accordance with the orders of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo, one of the things that must be done seriously by the Ministry of ATR/BPN is the eradication of the land mafia," he said.

The Deputy Minister of ATR/Head of BPN said that the land mafia case that befell artist Nirina Zubir was one example of a land mafia case that disturbed the public.

"The case that happened to artist Nirina Zubir is one of them, I have submitted four land certificates belonging to Mba Nirina on February 13 and there are four more certificates that are still in process," said King Juli Antoni.

The Secretary General (Sekjen) of the Ministry of ATR/BPN, he continued, also spoke and coordinated with the Head of the DKI Jakarta Regional Office as well as the Head of the West Jakarta Land Office.

"Hopefully, in this short time, Minister AHY can give four more land certificates to Mba Nirina," he said.

In addition, AHY will also chair a national working meeting (Rakernas) inviting all Heads of Regional Offices (Kanwil) and Heads of Land Offices from all regions of Indonesia on March 6 in Jakarta.

"The National Working Meeting is a good forum for Minister AHY to introduce himself and provide direction on what must be done within 100 days and until October," said King Juli Antoni.

Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning (ATR)/Head of the National Land Agency (BPN) Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono continued the policy of the land mafia in order to create security and comfort for investors and the community.

AHY also said that this electronic certificate is also a solution that can overcome many things, including land disputes, overlapping, things that include illegal practices that have been carried out by the land mafia.
