Died While Looking For Rongsokan Goods, Elderly 75 Years Of Falling And Drowning In Cimanceuri River

TANGERANG Sudirja, a 75-year-old man was found dead in the Cimanceuri River, Tigaraksa, Tangerang Regency. Sudirja allegedly drowned while falling into a river due to slipping while looking for junk.

Head of BPBD Tangerang Regency, Ujat Sudrajat, said the victim was found on Wednesday, February 21, in the afternoon, after previously missing since Tuesday, February 20, evening.

"It is true that a corpse was found under the bridge," said Ujat when confirmed, Wednesday, February 21.

Ujat explained that the incident began when the victim was looking for junk on the edge of the Cimanceri river, on Tuesday, February 20, at 19.00 WIB. Allegedly slipped.

Sudirja, who never returned home, worried his family, then reported it to the Tangerang Regency BPBD.

"The victim allegedly slipped and finally drowned in that time," he said.

Ujat, who received the report, tried to find the victim's whereabouts. As a result, Sudirja can be found the next day in a floating position.

"The Cimanceuri river is approximately 500 meters down. But the corpse appeared from above past the bridge. Finally it was found," he said.

Sudirja's body was taken to the family's house to be buried in a public cemetery (TPU).
