The explosion occurred on Monday, February 19 at around 03.45 WIB, when the house of the KPPS chairman in Pamekasan was thrown by an explosive suspected of being a bomb by an unknown person.
East Java Police Chief Inspector General Pol Imam Sugianto confirmed that the explosives used had been identified as a type of fish bomb or bondet. Although until now the motive for the perpetrator is still being investigated, the Kapolda hopes to be revealed soon in the not long term.
"We are investigating the motive and the perpetrator, hopefully it will be revealed in the near future. Thank God there were no victims, only houses were damaged," explained East Java Police Chief Inspector General Imam Sugianto, Tuesday, February 20.
