YOGYAKARTA - A number of famous artists ranging from celebrities, comedians, to musicians running as legislative candidates in the 2024 General Election. Ahmad Dhani from Gerindra, with the name Dhani Ahmad Prasetyo, managed to get a temporary vote of 42,647. In this party bearing the Garuda logo, the father of Al, El, Dul, for now only lost to Bambang Haryo Soekartono (BHS).

The East Java II electoral district covers the areas of Banyuwangi, Situbondo, and Bondowoso. In the electoral district which is located at the eastern end of Java Island, 74.47% of the votes have been received. There is the name of artist Lucky Perdana from the PDIP party which won 19,080 votes. In the internal ranks of the PDIP candidates, the vote acquisition is ranked 4th.

From the Democratic Party, there is artist Dina Lorenza Audria who won 33,636 votes. This famous artist in the 90s managed to occupy the highest ranking of votes within his party. The name of artist Emilia Contessa from Perindo also appeared who won 1,511 votes while he was in second place in his internal party.

The East Java V electoral district, which includes Malang Regency and Batu City, has recorded data on 66.64% of the votes acquired. There is an artist Krisdayanti PDIP candidate who received 38,918 votes temporarily. Internally the bull party, his voice is still lagging behind Ahmad Basarah and Andreas Eddy Susetyo.

Old artist Ratieh Sanggarwaty also ran as a candidate for the East Java electoral district V from the Gelora party. For temporary calculations to date, Ratieh Sanggarwaty received 2,151 and reached the highest among other legislative candidates from his party.

83,80 vote data have been recorded from the East Java VI electoral district which includes the Tulungagung, Kediri, and Blitar areas. A total of 85.71% of the vote data that came in from the East Java VII electoral district which covered the Mojokerto, Jombang, Madiun, and Nganjuk areas. There is the name of the artist candidate from PDIP Banyu Biru Djarot who won 41,281 votes. However, his vote was still left behind from his party legislative candidate, Sadarestuwati, with 79,253 votes.
